Data Manager for Fitbit App Reviews

Data Manager only Crashes !!

Just purchased the basic Data Manager from the App Store, it doesnt work! Doesnt load at all just CRASHES! Its a either a hoax or garbage.

Bummed

It doesnt sync everything like my distance, it bugs me I wish that it does that plus it doesnt sync my sleep when I look at my Fitbit I should tell me everything.

Basic manager and good syncing

Data are well synced but no syncing in background?! Only manually ?! Manager is basic and useless.

Good, but crashing and need heart rate support

I just could sync once. App is crashing all the time. Not sure if there is some glitch with Apple health app. One item that you must add is heart rate sync with Apple health heart rate card. Fitbit charge HR has heart rate monitoring.

Does not work

It synchronizes data from the given day. If I forget to sync on a given day I have a gap on a chart in sleep analysis in health kit. Waste of money. If I wanted to sync every day I would just enter data manually into the health app.

Does what I need it to do

I bought this app to sync my Fitbit steps to iOS 8s Health app since Fitbit has no plans to do it themselves. Synced perfectly with my Fitbit One sent my entire history (over a years worth of stats) to the Health app. Awesome. Take that, Fitbit! :)

Perfect way to sync to healthkit

Best 1.99 ever. This app is the best way to get your fitbit data into healthkit, and potentially out of fitbit. The app took less than 5 min to setup, and I had a years worth of steps all nice and synced. As of 10/8 fitbit said "we do not have plans to integrate with healthkit" - ignoring 1500+ comments and 800 votes on the suggestion. Heres hoping this developer can get some of those people on board. Excellent app to fill a void left by a company that doesnt care about the consumer.

Does not work

I got this hoping it will import my Fitbit data to HealthKit. The thing is it doesnt work. No data comes in to HealthKit with all the allowed permissions set.

Works but

You should be able to import food and sleep information. It only brings in steps.

Mostly works but some values fail on sync

The sync works for core values like active energy, steps, and distance. It throws an error on steps climbed and claims to sync sleep but there are no data transferred. I assume these are because my Zip doesnt support them and the Fitbit UI doesnt support entry of these. So why does this app keep telling me the sync was successful? It claims to sync weight but again, no actual data are transferred. This is disappointing. It would be nice if the sync supported water consumed so that I could see all of my FB data - including those from other apps - in one place, which is really the point of Data Manager. All of this would be fine in a free app but for $2.49, I expect better.

Does exactly as expected

In seconds!

One of the easiest Syncs Ive experienced

Syncing this app was seamless, and the instructions were clear. Now my Fitbit data is integrated with my iPhone Health stats.

It syncs to Health App!

I had been using Sync Solver for a while but it stopped working, and I wasnt able to get it to sync again. After doing some research, I discovered this app and it immediately worked as it should, syncing my Fitbit information to Apple Health app.

Not working

Every time I try to open the app, it crashes. Already deleted and downloaded again: same behavior. After update still crashes.

So good, but...

Its perfect to sync fitbit to HealthKit of Apple. But please add sync IMC

Unstable

Never completed sync. Sync failed cannot download data?

Doesnt sync with health app

I downloaded this and paid for it so I could sync my fit bit with the health app so I didnt have to manually put everything in, but it doesnt show up in health. I am irritated because I did pay for this app for that specific reason, and it doesnt do what it says.

Fixed

The latest version fixes the problem with distance not properly syncing. It was a fast fix. New version was out very soon after they were notified pf the problem. It now synchs steps, distance, floors, and sleep from the Fitbit. Great app for transferring the data to Apple Health.

Works great - just one improvement suggestion

The app works great and fills an important gap. Like the ease of setup, the great support and I used it for a week now. It would be great if the app would automatically sync (e.g. every hour or any other configurable time interval). This way, one could track the progress throughout the day in the health app. Thank you again for making this app available.

Does not sync Jawbone UP

The first line of the description states clearly "syncs Fitbit and Jawbone UP data to HealthKit." The next bullet indicates that it syncs data from all Jawbone and Fitbit models. Happy day! Toward the end of the bulleted list, an asterisk indicates that the first statement in the description is only true for Fitbit. Hmm. Logical contradiction. I cant say that its false advertising because the asterisk statement is there. I just didnt read closely enough. I hope this app is updated to do everything the description claims in its first very clear sentence. If not, I hope that the developers update their description and refund my purchase.
